RANDY TRAVIS ARRESTED FOR BEING DRUNK

SANGER, Texas (AP) -- Randy Travis had a little too much fun at his Super Bowl party. He was arrested for public intoxication outside a Texas church early Monday morning. Officials say police in Sanger, Texas, found Travis in a parked car with an open bottle of wine and smelling of alcohol. He was taken to jail and released six hours later. Travis apologized in a statement to The Associated Press, saying it was the result of an evening "celebrating the Super Bowl." He adds that he is "committed to being responsible and accountable." Travis kicks off a North American tour on Friday in Oregon to celebrate 25 years in the music industry.

DIERKS BENTLEY RELEASES NEW ALBUM 'HOME'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- There's no place like home for Dierks Bentley. It's the title of his new album, out today, and the name of his latest hit single, but the idea of "home" means so much more. He says "home" is in the boots he's wearing, the bus he tours in and the old, beat up guitar he plays. He's been touring year round for eight years, so now, he says every city he revisits feels like a home town. Bentley wrote six of the 12 songs on his new album. It's the follow up to 2010's bluegrass excursion, "Up On The Ridge," that earned him critical praise but no country radio hits. He says fans will get the best of both worlds on "Home." The second leg of his "Country and Cold Cans" tour resumes Feb. 15 in Canada and Australia.

CLAY WALKER TO HOST 3RD MS BENEFIT CONCERT

UNDATED (AP) -- Clay Walker has set the date for his third annual "Chords of Hope" benefit concert for multiple sclerosis. It's a disease he's been battling himself since 1996. Walker will host the concert on June 5th at 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville. The proceeds will help fund MS research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Walker will perform along with friends Jerrod Niemann, Hal Ketchum and Sarah Marince. He describes the benefit as a truly special event because it lets him perform for fans and raise money for MS research at the same time. Walker's charity Band Against MS has raised more than $2 million since he started it in '96 to help others living with the disease. Walker has sold over 11 million albums and had 11 number-one hits.
