Who Can Enter

1. To be eligible to participate in this contest, nominees must attend an Oklahoma High School as either a junior or senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and participation on a high school sports team.

2. Employees of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group Inc., LLC, KOKH, Inc, which owns television broadcast station KOKH-TV and KOCB, Inc., which owns television broadcast station KOCB-TV (hereafter, KOKH and KOCB shall be referred to collectively as the “Stations”), Pizza Hut, Inc., their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, local radio stations, television or cable, or any other media company, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible. The term “immediate families” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren.

How to Enter

(a) No purchase is necessary to enter. Only one entry per contestant.

(b) To enter, visit www.okcfox.com or www.cwokc.com and download the entry form. Mail the completed entry form to Scholar Athlete of the Week, 1228 E. Wilshire Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73111. No mechanically reproduced or incomplete entries will be accepted.

(c) The contest starts on August 13, 2007, and all nominations must be received by Stations by 5p.m. on April 1, 2008. Stations are not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected mail, server unavailability, printing errors, or any other electronic malfunction.

(d) Each Friday, one Scholar Athlete will be selected by Stations personnel from among qualified entries, to be featured the next week on the stations. Selections will be based on GPA, number of nominations student receives, and sports and academic achievements. A total of forty (40) Scholar Athletes will be selected between August 26, 2007 and May 31, 2008.

(e) All nominations received that are mutilated, tampered with, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. All nominations become the property of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Communications, LLC and the Stations and will not be acknowledged or returned.

The Prize(s)

1. Each week, one Scholar Athlete will be featured during the FOX 25 Sports Sunday program and a vignette to air on KOKH and KOCB, as well as on the website, throughout the following week showcasing them as that week’s Scholar Athlete. The value of the vignette cannot be determined. During the month of May 2008, a banquet will be held in honor all of the chosen Scholar Athletes. At the banquet, each Scholar Athlete will receive a medal and a frame with picture. Out of the total forty (40) Scholar Athletes, one (1) male and one (1) female will be chosen as the Scholar Athlete of the Year. Selection of male and female Scholar Athlete of the Year will be made by station personnel and based on GPA and athletic achievements. The male and female Scholar Athlete of the Year will each receive a scholarship check in the amount of $1,500.

2. Weekly Scholar Athletes will be notified by phone. Weekly Scholar Athletes must sign and return a release and affidavit of eligibility, which must be received within five (5) days of notification. If a weekly Scholar Athlete is a minor, then the weekly Scholar Athlete’s parents or guardian must sign a release and affidavit of eligibility before the weekly Scholar Athlete receives his or her award. Winners must show picture identification to claim prizes. Station reserves the right to examine additional identification and may choose to accept or deny awarding the award based on the identification presented.

3. If a Scholar Athlete cannot be notified within 2 days, or does not timely return the affidavit of eligibility, another Scholar Athlete will be selected.

4. There will be no substitutions or cash alternatives for awards except at the sole discretion of Stations. The Stations have the right to substitute an award of similar value. No transfer or assignment of prizes is allowed.

5. The weekly Scholar Athlete is responsible for paying all local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prizes as set forth in these rules.

6. Only one award will be awarded per nominee.

7. Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group Inc., LLC, KOKH, Inc and KOCB, Inc. are not liable if the provider of any part of the award fails to satisfy its obligations to furnish its portion of the award.

8. Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group Inc., LLC, KOKH, Inc., KOCB, Inc., and Pizza Hut, Inc. are not responsible for any liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of the award.

9. In claiming your award, you acknowledge that Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group Inc., LLC, KOKH, Inc. and KOCB, Inc. have the right to publicize your name, character, likeness, photograph, voice and the fact that you are the winner for promotional purposes without financial remuneration.

Odds of Winning/Miscellaneous

1. Odds of receiving an award depend on the number of entries received.

2. Complete contest rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at KOKH & KOCB, 1228 E. Wilshire Blvd; Oklahoma City, OK 73111 and on the Station’s website at www.okcfox.com .

3. For a list of award winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to KOKH & KOCB, Attn: Scholar Athlete Winners; 1228 E. Wilshire Blvd; Oklahoma City, OK 73111 by June 1, 2008.

4. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group Inc., LLC, KOKH, Inc., KOCB, Inc., and Pizza Hut, Inc. accept no responsibility or liability in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of any prize awarded hereunder.

5. Stations cannot be held liable for any lost or stolen nominations, prizes or award information.

6. Stations reserve the right to make rules and contest changes and change the aforementioned contest dates.
