A flash flood watch has been issued through Wednesday morning for parts of central and southern Oklahoma. The flash flood watch does include the Oklahoma City Metro Area!

The storm system responsible for the rain the past few days has been slow to move in and will also be slow to move out. The system should clear the area and shut down our rain chances by Thursday night Until then, expect clouds and occasional rain with temperatures well below average. Some of the rain will be locally heavy and since the ground is saturated additional flooding will be an issue. Be extra careful around our flood prone areas, give yourself some extra drive time, and don't drive through those water-covered roads!

Summertime temps are back by Friday and rain may return by the end of the weekend. Have a great and safe day! Jeff
