Credit Cards Stolen from Edmond Used in Moore Walmart
Edmond Police say someone smashed a window of a car in Edmond and stole a woman's purse. The credit cards inside the purse were then used at the Moore Walmart.
Police were called to a home in Edmond on February 4th after a woman reported someone broke into her car. The victim told police her car was locked and in her driveway when it was broken into.
Around 5:30 that morning, she told police she heard a noise and when she looked outisde, she saw a small red car driving away from the area. She told police she has no idea if it was involved in the burglary.
The credit cards were then used at the Walmart in Moore and police believe four people, two men and two women, are responsible for the crime. Police say the women took turns using one of the stolen cards to make purchases of $172.76 and $237.45.
The two men tried using a different stolen credit card six times but were denied because the victim had already cancelled the card.
Anyone with information is asked to call Edmond Police.
