Pro-gun Group Rallies at Oklahoma Capitol
Oklahoma City (AP) - About 80 people -- many of them armed -- rallied outside the Oklahoma Capitol in support of gun rights.
The rally Friday was sponsored by the Oklahoma Defense Force, a group of gun rights supporters that includes a self-described militia led by Ron Cross -- who says the group has about 300 members.
Cross urged action against what he calls government's hostility against gun rights. He says they should organize to oppose any proposal to restrict the right to keep and bear arms.
Among those attending is former Republican state Rep. Charles Key, who said in 2010 that he supported creating a state militia.
A law allowing residents with a handgun license to openly carry weapons was approved last year and many at the rally had their guns on display.

May 20, 2013 07:38 GMT
BETHANY, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities in Bethany say a woman and her infant who were attacked by a man posing as a delivery driver were saved by the family dog.
Police say the man was holding a package and when the woman opened the door, the man sprayed mother and baby with pepper spray.
Oklahoma City television station KOCO reported (http://is.gd/V8bKGy ) reports the family dog, Louie, bolted toward the man when the woman screamed.
Louis chased the intruder out of the house.
The woman and baby were treated at a hospital for effects of the pepper spray. The family says they've recovered from the chemical.
The attacker hasn't been caught.
