Flu Cases Decline in Past Week
Flu Case Reports See Significant Drop in Sooner State
The Oklahoma Department of Health is reporting fewer people are being hospitalized for the flu.
According to the weekly report, only 42 people were admitted for flu-related illnesses in the past week. That's the lowest it's been since December 18th.
In the past week, six Oklahomans have died from the flu. That brings that total number of deaths in Oklahoma to 23 since flu season started in September. The majority of those deaths have been older than 65.

Graduations slated for tornado-ravaged Okla. town

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Graduation ceremonies are set in an Oklahoma community hit hard by a tornado.
Commencement exercises are set for Saturday for the three high schools in Moore. The Oklahoma City suburb was hit by a strong tornado Monday; 24 people died.
The ceremonies for graduates of Westmoore, Southmoore and Moore high schools will each be held at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
The Moore School District canceled its school year after the tornado hit the Plaza Towers and Briarwood elementary schools, but wants graduation ceremonies to go on.
