1 Dead, 1 Suspect in Custody in Pottawatomie Co. Shooting
Pottowatomie County authorities are investigating an early morning homicide in McLoud.
According to the authorities, the body of 27-year-old Adam Pacheco was found with multiple gun shot wounds near Shawnee Lake Saturday morning. Authorities say the homicide appears to have occurred in the 400 block of N. Harris St. in McLoud. Pacheco's body was then moved to Shawnee Lake.
One suspect is currently in custody in connection to the homicide. No information about the suspect has been released.

Lincoln `comfort' dog headed to Oklahoma

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- A Lincoln "comfort" dog that has been to several national tragedy sites this year is now in Oklahoma to help victims cope with the devastation caused by a massive tornado.
Lincoln television station KOLN-TV reports (http://bit.ly/11aPCT0) that Moses has been sent to comfort those affected by the Boston bombings, a West Texas explosion and school shootings in Newtown, Conn.
Moses is part of Lutheran Church Charities National K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry.
Pastor Glen Keylon says Moses provides a lot of relief to people -- especially children -- when they are able to pet him during a tough time.
The massive tornado that tore through Moore, Okla., on Monday killed 24 -- including 10 children -- and injured more than 200.
