McClain County Update: Standoff Over
The standoff has concluded. Officers were on the scene for approximately four hours.. The officers obtained a search warrant and entered and searched the mobile home. It was determined the home was used as a chop shop. A 2013 Camaro was located at the scene as was a Cadillac that had been reported stolen from Oklahoma City. One Person In Custody During McClain County Standoff.
Tuesday afternoon McClain County deputies are using robots to search a mobile home North of Blanchard. A standoff began around 11:30 a.m. when a stolen car was located near Blanchard. The suspects barricaded themselves inside a mobile home. A SWAT team drove up to the mobile home in an armored vehicle and one person was taken into custody. No names have been released at this time.

Official: 2nd person killed by Oklahoma tornado

SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma's state medical examiner's office says a second person was killed by a tornado that leveled a central Oklahoma mobile home park.
Office spokeswoman Amy Elliott on Monday identified the two people who are confirmed to have been killed during Sunday's storms as 79-year-old Glen Irish and 76-year-old Billy Hutchinson. Both men were from Shawnee.
One of several tornadoes that touched down in parts of the nation's midsection on Sunday leveled the Steelman Estates Mobile Home Park near Shawnee.
It wasn't immediately clear if both victims lived at the mobile home park.
