Bedlam a Friendly Rivalry
Fans gathered in Norman for the annual meeting of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State football Saturday, many divided in their loyalties. Sooner fans showed good sportsmanship by opening their tailgates to supporters on both sides.
"Welcome to all of our OSU fans," one tailgater told us as he showed off the setup at his tent.
The Bedlam game is a tradition that brings the state together, even if it pits it against each other, fans said.
"We're
all Okies first. We're all Oklahomans. We'll go to the stadium, have
some fun, fight against each other, and then come back out, and then
were all family again," one fan said.
OSU fans were outnumbered
in Norman, but the Pokes were still hopeful for a good game. Some OU
fans were not willing to think about a loss.
"It's a great rivalry, I mean being an OU fan, I just love seeing us beat OSU," one fan said.
But the rivalry is friendly and most fans said a high scoring, fast paced game was more important than the victory.

Moore post office service increases; streets open
May 24, 2013 17:29 GMT
MOORE, Okla. (AP) -- Public agencies in Moore have opened streets to residents and resumed mail delivery to as many addresses as possible.
At a news conference Friday, police said residents in the hardest-hit areas can go back into their neighborhoods without having to deal with police checkpoints. Some road closures may still occur as utility crews work to restore service.
Moore's postmaster said 85 percent of mail delivered from the Moore station is being delivered, and that mail deliveries from the Santa Fe station are up to 95 percent.
For those whose mail is not being delivered, those with ZIP codes 73153 and 73160 can pick up mail at the Airport Finance unit on Air Cargo Road.
Those in ZIP code 73170 can go to the Santa Fe station for their mail.
