Judge is Set to Decide Race for Oklahoma House Seat
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- The loser in a race for an Oklahoma House seat says there were so many irregularities in the Norman-area election that it's impossible to tell who really won.
Republican Aaron Stiles defeated Democrat Paula Roberts by 16 votes, but Roberts' lawyer says Judge Tracy Shumacher should order a new election.
Lawyer Gregory Bledsoe says evidence of 10 irregularities presented Tuesday calls the election results into question. He says provisional ballots cast by voters who did not have a valid voter ID were treated differently than those from candidates who did have a voter ID, in violation of the Constitution.
Roberts also says ineligible voters were allowed to cast ballots while some registered voters were barred from voting.
Shumacher did not rule and will hear more testimony Nov. 30.

Search continues in creek for missing Okla. teen
May 25, 2013 22:59 GMT
KINGFISHER, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities continue to search for a Kingfisher teenager who disappeared after jumping into Uncle John Creek.
Police say 17-year-old Taylor Faine jumped into the creek Thursday and did not resurface. Kingfisher Fire Chief Randy Poindexter told The Oklahoman (http://bit.ly/10s2oB6 ) on Saturday that manmade dams have been built in hopes of finding Faine's body.
Authorities say Faine was swimming with friends in an area where no swimming signs are in place because of dangerous currents in the creek.
