Search Resumes for Missing Man on Oologah Lake
OOLOGAH, Okla. (AP) -- The search has resumed for an Oklahoma man who went missing when his fishing boat capsized on Oologah Lake.
The Rogers County Sheriff's Office says 35-year-old Jeremy Brewer was fishing with his uncle and cousin when their boat hit a wave Thursday and started to sink. Tulsa television station KOTV reports (http://is.gd/O8uWQO ) that Brewer's uncle and cousin made it safely to shore but that Brewer disappeared in about 25 feet of water.
Authorities say the two survivors were taken to a Tulsa-area hospital where they were treated for hypothermia.
The search for Brewer was suspended Thursday at dark and resumed Friday morning.

Police ask Okla. public to avoid storm areas
May 20, 2013 21:49 GMT
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Police in Oklahoma City have issued a request that residents stay away from areas that have sustained tornado damage.
Officials said Monday afternoon that victims remained trapped in wreckage and that emergency crews are trying to reach those areas to conduct search and rescue operations.
The area in Oklahoma City between Southwest 164th and Southwest 134th, and Western Avenue to Santa Fe Avenue is particularly hard hit.
Police say live power lines are down across the area and open gas lines pose a further risk.
