Police Make Arrest After Body Found in Burning Home
One person has been arrested after fire crews discovered a man's body inside of a burning Shawnee home.
Fire crews discovered the body after responding to a house fire in the 700 block of East 11th St. in Shawnee. The fire crews notified police who determined the death to be suspicious. The body was identified as Marty Lee Jones.
Shawnee Police Chief Russell Frantz said Joseph Neay was being held on pending murder and arson charges in relation to the death of Jones.
The investigation of the incident is still ongoing.

Small suburban Oklahoma City hospital damaged

MOORE, Okla. (AP) -- Officials say a small hospital in Moore was damaged by Monday afternoon's tornado.
The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management spokeswoman Keli Cain says the Moore Medical Center sustained damage.
Cain also said the hospital was evacuated and all 13 patients were transferred to other facilities.
Cain said she didn't know the conditions of the patients or the extent of the damage at the hospital, which is southwest of Oklahoma City.
