Megachurch Sex Abuse Suspect Due in Tulsa Court
TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- A former employee of a Tulsa megachurch charged with raping a 13-year-old girl and other sex crimes is scheduled for arraignment.
Arraignment is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday for 20-year-old Chris Denman on charges of raping the girl in August on the campus of Victory Christian Center -- where Denman was once an employee. He's also charged with molesting a 15-year-old girl and making a lewd proposal to a 12-year-old girl.
Another former Victory employee, 23-year-old Israel Castillo, is charged with making a lewd proposal to a 15-year-old girl and using a computer to commit a sex crime. Castillo is due in court next month.
Five employees of the church also face misdemeanor charges for allegedly waiting two weeks to report the alleged rape.
All have pleaded not guilty.

Moore post office service increases; streets open

MOORE, Okla. (AP) -- Public agencies in Moore have opened streets to residents and resumed mail delivery to as many addresses as possible.
At a news conference Friday, police said residents in the hardest-hit areas can go back into their neighborhoods without having to deal with police checkpoints. Some road closures may still occur as utility crews work to restore service.
Moore's postmaster said 85 percent of mail delivered from the Moore station is being delivered, and that mail deliveries from the Santa Fe station are up to 95 percent.
For those whose mail is not being delivered, those with ZIP codes 73153 and 73160 can pick up mail at the Airport Finance unit on Air Cargo Road.
Those in ZIP code 73170 can go to the Santa Fe station for their mail.
