Hearing Set For Defendant In Oklahoma City Cathouse Deaths
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A hearing is set in Oklahoma County for a man accused of killing a prostitute featured on HBO'S "Cathouse" series and three other people. The hearing is scheduled Tuesday for a 34-year-old Denny Phillips. Phillips faces six counts of first-degree murder for the 2009 shooting deaths of 22-year-old Brooke Phillips, who had worked as a prostitute at the legal brothel Moonlite Bunny Ranch near Carson City, Nev. Also killed were 22-year-old Milagrous Barrera, 25-year-old Jennifer Ermey and 32-year-old Casey Mark Barrientos. The two additional murder charges are because Phillips and Barrera were pregnant. David Allen Tyner was sentenced to life in prison in May after pleading guilty to six first-degree murder charges in the case. The plea agreement allowed the 31-year-old Tyner to avoid a possible death sentence.

Okla. grand jury returns new charges on ex-judge

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma's multicounty grand jury has returned new indictments against a former Lincoln County judge who already faces embezzlement and cattle theft charges.
The grand jury handed up the indictments Thursday against 47-year-old Craig S. Key of Chandler.
Key turned himself in last month to Lincoln County authorities who set bond at $10,000.
One indictment accuses Key of harboring a fugitive by allegedly encouraging a client facing criminal charges in Lincoln and Jefferson counties to flee the state to avoid prosecution.
Another charges Key with five counts of delivery of a forged note and accuses him of forging the name of a woman whose signature was required on escrow account checks that Key was also required to sign.
Key's attorney, Cheryl Ramsey of Stillwater, says the additional indictments are no surprise.
