Friends and Family Say Final Goodbye to Cade Poulos
More than 850 people came out to celebrate the life of Cade Poulos. Cade shot and killed himself in the hallway of Stillwater Jr High before school started Wednesday.
Services were held at Life Church in Stillwater. Friends and family remembered good times with Cade.
"Cade was very proud of his red hair and was affectionately called carrot top by his friends. He thought the best part of his hair was when the girls would ask if they could touch it and Cade would smile and say sure," said Life Church Pastor, Charles Graham.
Cade's family remembers him as a smart kid, always smiling and reading.
"As an adult it's kind of embarrassing to get out smarted by somebody his age," said a familymember st the service.
But nothing meant more to Cade than his family.
"He was never happier than when he was surrounded by his parents, brother sister and cousins."
Family members say Cade had just rededicated his life at LifeChurch a week before his death.
