Police ID Victims of Deadly Crash
Victims of a deadly crash that killed both drivers have been identified.
Police say a Ford van driven Wednesday by Alejandro Mejia Lopez was hit head on when Bobby Carroll Matthews crossed a center line in his Chevy Suburban. Lopez, 28, died along with five of his passengers, Julio Ramos Perez, 25; Rigoberto Toj Garcia, 24; Julio Cesar Don Juan Morino, 27; Sebastian Sucuquai Saquic, 21; and Juan Lorenzo, 56. Another passenger, Francisco Diaz, 33, was in critical condition Wednesday in an Amarillo, Texas, hospital.
Police did not know what caused the 55-year-old Matthews of Woodward, Oklahoma, to lose control of his vehicle.

2 arrested in death of woman near Cushing

CUSHING, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says two men have been arrested in the death of a Cushing woman.
The agency said Saturday that the two were arrested Friday night for the death of 32-year-old Amber Nicole Sporleder of Cushing. The OSBI says the two men are being held in the Payne County jail -- but formal charges have not yet been filed.
Sporleder's body was found about 6:30 a.m. Friday along a county road northeast of Cushing. Her body was sent to the state medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death.
