Man Hurt After Oklahoma City Police Officer Uses Taser on Him
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma City police officials say a man has been hospitalized after an officer used a Taser to subdue him during an arrest.
Authorities say an officer responding to a call of a man firing a gun in northeast Oklahoma City tried to apprehend 43-year-old Timothy C. Dennis Sunday night. A news release from police says when that failed, the officer used his Taser once on Dennis to gain control.
Officials say officers observed that Dennis was struggling to breathe and he was transported to an Oklahoma City hospital, where he was listed in critical condition on Monday.
Police say they don't know exactly what caused Dennis' injuries.

Search continues in creek for missing Okla. teen

KINGFISHER, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities continue to search for a Kingfisher teenager who disappeared after jumping into Uncle John Creek.
Police say 17-year-old Taylor Faine jumped into the creek Thursday and did not resurface. Kingfisher Fire Chief Randy Poindexter told The Oklahoman (http://bit.ly/10s2oB6 ) on Saturday that manmade dams have been built in hopes of finding Faine's body.
Authorities say Faine was swimming with friends in an area where no swimming signs are in place because of dangerous currents in the creek.
