Indictment Charges Oklahoma Woman With 2003 Killing

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A Pawnee County woman is accused of beating a man to death with a baseball bat in 2003.   A multicounty grand jury indictment charging 31-year-old Amanda Sanders-Bolstad with first-degree murder was unsealed Tuesday in Pawnee County District Court.   Sanders-Bolstad has a lengthy criminal history and prison records show she currently is imprisoned at the Mabel Bassett Correctional Center on drug and perjury charges.   According to the indictment, Sanders-Bolstad was accused of beating Heath Riley Reams to death with a baseball bat in July 2003.   A telephone message left Tuesday with Sanders-Bolstad's attorney was not immediately returned.   The multicounty grand jury is not open to the public, but the indictment lists 28 separate witnesses who appeared before the grand jury, including five agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. Indictment Charges Oklahoma Woman With 2003 Killing

Search continues in creek for missing Okla. teen
May 25, 2013 22:59 GMT

KINGFISHER, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities continue to search for a Kingfisher teenager who disappeared after jumping into Uncle John Creek.

Police say 17-year-old Taylor Faine jumped into the creek Thursday and did not resurface. Kingfisher Fire Chief Randy Poindexter told The Oklahoman (http://bit.ly/10s2oB6 ) on Saturday that manmade dams have been built in hopes of finding Faine's body.

Authorities say Faine was swimming with friends in an area where no swimming signs are in place because of dangerous currents in the creek.
