Enid Police Seize Machines Used For Illegal Gambling
On August 15, 2012 at approximately 2:00 PM Enid Police with assistance from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office served four search warrants at four local bars. The Narcotics Division of the Enid Police Department, after receiving several citizen complaints, conducted a short undercover investigation of local bars having gaming machines that were being used for illegal gambling. The warrants were served at The Captain’s Quarters, 224 W. Broadway, BG’s 26th Street Bar, 802 N. 26th St., Ma & Pa’s, 408 N. Independence and Shooters Saloon, 1416 N. Grand Ave. Sgt. Eric Reddick said that 25 machines and approximately $7226.00 in cash were seized. Nearly every machine was being played in one of the bars when we served the search warrant” said Sgt. Reddick. Sgt. Reddick advised that charges are being pursued as a result of this investigation. Tornado watch issued for western, central Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A tornado watch is in effect for western and central Oklahoma.
The weather system brought severe thunderstorms to the Altus and Clinton areas, as well as Harper County late Saturday afternoon. There were no reports of rotation as evening approached but the tornado watch lasts until 11 p.m. Saturday.
The dangerous weather is forecast to continue into Sunday night as the system progresses to the east.
The tornado watch area Saturday stretched from eastern edge of the Panhandle to include the Oklahoma City area.
Forecasters warn that the system could also bring large hail.
The National Weather Service in Norman reports tennis ball-size hail along U.S. 62 near the border of Harmon and Jackson counties in the state's far southwest.
