Luther Arson Reward Increased

Update:  Oklahoma County Sheriff official just let us know the reward has increased to $7,500.00.  The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office FOP Lodge 155 is offering a reward of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for starting the Luther, Oklahoma wildfires on August 3, 2012.  In addition to offering $1,000.00 the OCSO FOP is also asking the community for pledges in an effort to increase the reward.  We have already received a pledge from a metro business bringing the total reward to $1,500. The OCSO FOP is working with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office, “We are at a point where we really need information from the public” said Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel.  “The only way we are going to solve this case is if someone comes forward and gives us information that will lead to the arrest of the individual who committed this horrendous crime.” “The FOP is committed to doing everything possible to assist in making an arrest in this case”, said OCSO FOP President Larry Grant.  “I believe with support from the community we will be able to raise enough reward money to help bring this case to a close.”  Anyone who would like to make a pledge can contact OCSO FOP 155 President Larry Grant at (405) 820-2469, Fax: (405) 454-0460 or Email: solargra72@yahoo.comLuther Arson Reward Increased
