Enid Police Need Your Help

UPDATE:
Enid Police confirm an arrest has been made in the rape case but they are not releasing any more information at this time. Sgt. Dustin Albright anticipates more information will be available tomorrow.

Enid Police are asking for help from the community with identifying a man that is sought for questioning in reference to a reported rape that occurred in Enid.  A juvenile female reported to police that she was raped by a white male that identified himself as “Damian” on Friday, July 20th at approximately 2:00 AM.  The female said that “Damian” was supposed to give her a ride home from Wal Mart, 5505 W. Garriott, but instead drove her to a nearby parking lot and then raped her in the backseat of his car.  The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 23 years of age, approximately 5’5” in height, wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.  The female described his car as being a four door red car.  There are also other persons pictured in the provided surveillance still images and video that might be able to assist with this investigation.  We are asking help with identifying these persons too.  If anyone has any information concerning the identity of any of these persons, then please contact Det. John Robinson at the Enid Police Department 580-242-7000. Enid Police Need Your Help

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Graduation ceremonies are set in an Oklahoma community hit hard by a tornado.

Commencement exercises are set for Saturday for the three high schools in Moore. The Oklahoma City suburb was hit by a strong tornado Monday; 24 people died.

The ceremonies for graduates of Westmoore, Southmoore and Moore high schools will each be held at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.

The Moore School District canceled its school year after the tornado hit the Plaza Towers and Briarwood elementary schools, but wants graduation ceremonies to go on.
