Move Over Netflix, Redbox Instant is Coming into Your Living Room
Three months of testing is over and Coinstar and Verizon think their jointly owned and developed streaming service is ready for viewing.
Redbox Instant is in "open beta", which means there are still bugs to work out but the service is fully functional and available to anyone.
Redbox Instant has been in development since December. It's designed to compete with Netflix and Amazon.com's Instant Video, the top two names in streamed entertainment.
Visitors can sign up for a free month trial. After that, Redbox charges $8 a month for streaming plus four DVD rental nights. Movies that you can find at your local machine are available as well as older movies too.

Graduations slated for tornado-ravaged Okla. town

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Graduation ceremonies are set in an Oklahoma community hit hard by a tornado.
Commencement exercises are set for Saturday for the three high schools in Moore. The Oklahoma City suburb was hit by a strong tornado Monday; 24 people died.
The ceremonies for graduates of Westmoore, Southmoore and Moore high schools will each be held at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
The Moore School District canceled its school year after the tornado hit the Plaza Towers and Briarwood elementary schools, but wants graduation ceremonies to go on.
