Six Sentences Handed Down in Human Trafficking Case
Sentences to be handed down against six people convicted of human trafficking.
Federal officials in Tulsa are set to announce the recent sentencing Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Associated Press, the announcement is expected from U.S. Attorney Danny C. Williams and other federal and state law enforcement agency leaders.
The other agencies that assisted in the cases include Homeland Security, the FBI, IRS and the Tulsa Sheriff's Office, among others.
At least six human trafficking-related bills were introduced this session in Oklahoma and are among more than 200 working through other state governments.

Another storm system poised to hit Oklahoma

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma is bracing for more severe weather as another storm system takes aim at the state.
The National Weather Service says baseball-sized hail and tornadoes are possible Monday afternoon and evening in Oklahoma. Forecasters say a large section of central and eastern Oklahoma is at a moderate risk for the severe weather. The moderate risk area includes Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
The severe weather comes a day after storms pummeled Oklahoma, killing one person and injuring 21. Forecasters say Monday's scenario will look a lot like Sunday's.
The National Weather Service says emergency management personnel and storm spotters should plan for severe weather from 1 p.m. until midnight.
