Trooper: 3 Killed in SW Oklahoma Plane Crash
MANGUM, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says three people have been killed in the crash of a twin-engine airplane in southwestern Oklahoma.
Trooper Betsy Randolph said the crash of the Beechcraft Baron was reported about 5:30 p.m. Saturday near Mangum in Greer County -- about 150 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.
Randolph said all three people aboard the aircraft were killed. She did not know where the flight had originated or where it was headed.
Randolph said the Federal Aviation Administration has been notified of the crash and is sending investigators to the site. An FAA spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Associated Press.

Education board to consider waivers for Moore

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma State Board of Education is expected to consider waivers for public schools in the tornado-ravaged community of Moore.
The State Board of Education meets Thursday in Oklahoma City. It's slated to consider waivers for Moore Public Schools relating to instructional days and filing deadlines for certain reports.
The Central Oklahoma chapter of the American Red Cross is also expected to attend the meeting to discuss storing donated supplies after a monstrous tornado hit Moore Monday and killed 24 people, including 10 children.
Seven of the children were pulled from the rubble of the Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore.
