Pedestrian Hit and Killed in SE Oklahoma City
A man was hit and killed Saturday night, while crossing Shields near SE 58th street, police said. The incident happened at about 7:50 p.m. His name was not released immediately.
Police said the man was hit by two vehicles. Both vehicles then drove away from the scene. One was described by witnesses as a dark colored SUV. Officials at the scene Saturday said officers may have tracked down the cars, but they were still trying to confirm the drivers' involvement.
Police were still questioning witnesses about what happened.
Witnesses at the scene tell Fox 25 that hit and runs happen there often. They said several homeless people live in area.

Search continues in creek for missing Okla. teen

KINGFISHER, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities continue to search for a Kingfisher teenager who disappeared after jumping into Uncle John Creek.
Police say 17-year-old Taylor Faine jumped into the creek Thursday and did not resurface. Kingfisher Fire Chief Randy Poindexter told The Oklahoman (http://bit.ly/10s2oB6 ) on Saturday that manmade dams have been built in hopes of finding Faine's body.
Authorities say Faine was swimming with friends in an area where no swimming signs are in place because of dangerous currents in the creek.
