2 barrels of human remains found in SC lake
ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) -- Two bodies have been found stuffed in barrels in a South Carolina lake and authorities believe they could be those of two people missing for a month.
The first plastic barrel was found on the shore of Lake Hartwell on Wednesday with a woman's body inside.
Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said another metal barrel with a man's body inside was found nearby
Investigators believe the body could be a man who has been missing for a month, but they were waiting on an autopsy to confirm his identity and a cause of death.
The woman has been identified, but her name has not been released because all her family has not been notified. She hadn't been seen for more than 30 days.
No arrests have been made.

Principal recounts storm hitting Moore school

MOORE, Okla. (AP) -- The principal of the Oklahoma elementary school where seven children died in a tornado says her teachers did everything they could to save their lives.
Plaza Towers Elementary Principal Amy Simpson said at an emotional news conference Friday that children regularly had tornado drills and bravely faced a storm carrying 210 mph winds.
After taking the first half of Monday to celebrate the students' accomplishments during the year, the weather worsened and the school turned attention to the skies. The twister hit just before the end of the school day.
Simpson said some teachers took the weight of collapsed walls onto their bodies to save children.
Monday's tornado was a top-of-the-scale EF5. The storm killed 24, including 10 children.
