Oklahoma authorities seek robbery suspect
September 07, 2010 15:35 EDT
TECUMSEH, Okla. (AP) -- Pottawatomie County authorities have arrested a man who led them on a high-speed chase after allegedly robbing a Tecumseh pharmacy.
The Sheriff's Department said in a statement that one armed robber was still at large Tuesday and area schools were placed on lockdown.
Officials say about 10 a.m. two men participated in a robbery in Konawa. They then drove to Tecumseh, where they allegedly robbed Ralph's Pharmacy and shots were fired. No one was hurt.
The suspects ditched the vehicle they were driving, and one of them stole another car while the other suspect fled on foot.
Police chased the stolen car into Cleveland County, where the driver eventually surrendered.
The man being sought is described as a white male with tattoo sleeves on both arms, a dark blue T-shirt and blue jeans.
