From the FOX 25 First Forecast Center...

Good morning to you! Interesting forecast this afternoon with a weak "backdoor" cold front coming in.  Most cold fronts arrive from the northwest or north.  When they come in from the northeast to southeast it's called a backdoor front.   Temps will warm quickly into the mid to upper 90s and then cool off from northeast to southwest as the front moves in.  We could pop a few t'storms too!

This first front fades away and it's very hot again Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Another regular cold front arrives late in the weekend with a significant break in the high heat looking likely next week.  Maybe some more rain too!

Watch your backdoor today, Jon Slater
